I always wondered why people use bags to grab poop.
Then why not use poop gloves...50% bag + 50% glove? It's a win win! In my lightbulb moment, all I want to do with my poop bags is this...
That’s right, “bye bye” poop bags.
I love my dog, but cleaning up after her was easily my least favorite part of owning a dog.
Some of the reasons I felt frustrated with poop bags are...
Ahh, so many reasons. Well, I decided that I was done dreading walks with my dog.
I got creative & designed poop gloves…specifically for dog owners as a way to pick up after them easier.
Let me lay out the differences for you!
Our Dog Gloves are kinda like your basic or regular poop bag, but with SUPERPOWERS.
I decided to name them Dog Gloves though because, as you can imagine, they do SO MUCH more than pick up poop. They can do about 8+ other common tasks that typical dog owners do daily (if not weekly).
Start practicing that royal wave now! Bye bye, poop bags! Hello, Dog Gloves.
]]>Once I got my puppy, it didn't take long to quickly learn about how much people love using biodegradable poop bags.
I may not be able to solve all of the world's problems, but I can definitely take care of my pet's business. For that reason, I knew I would be buying eco-friendly poop bags so I can do what I can to save the Earth & be a conscious buyer.
I was a little surprised by how many biodegradable poop bags there are to choose from. Ultimately it's a great thing though because pet parents can make a conscious effort to reduce their carbon footprint.
When I started Noble Pets Products, I knew that our gloves HAD to be earth-friendly. It's part of my core.
I wanted to share a little info about why it's important to use biodegradable bags in case you don't know the background.
So, what does biodegradable mean?
Biodegradable means capable of being decomposed by bacteria or other living organisms, biodegraded or broken down especially into harmless products. In other words, biodegradable means that the bag will biodegrade after a short time and break down naturally instead of sitting in a landfill (for 500 years)
The biodegradable poop bags you choose should biodegrade within 6 months to half a year. When deciding which biodegradable poop bags is right for you, always read the biodegradability guidelines. If biodegradation guidelines aren't listed, ask the manufacturer or check out biodegradable poop bags reviews to get an idea of what other customers think.
Why is important to use biodegradable poop bags?
It is important to use biodegradable poop bags because they break down quickly so they don't do as much damage to the Earth. This is great because, ultimately, they help take care of the planet.
Every time we go for a walk and our dogs need to go potty, we usually find ourselves nonchalantly picking up the "evidence" with one of those plastic bags you get at the grocery store. While this may seem like an innocent enough solution, but it's actually doing more harm than good.
What happens to plastic bags that are not biodegradable?
The simple answer is that we throw them away and they go into a landfill.
The more complex answer is that they don't biodegrade, which means that they sit in landfills for years and years. In fact, it can take up to 1,000 years for a plastic bag to biodegrade. This means that every single plastic bag that has ever been used is still sitting in a landfill somewhere.
What can we do to help?
The best way to avoid contributing to this problem is to switch to biodegradable poop bags. These bags will biodegrade in a matter of months, as opposed to years, and they will not harm the environment. In fact, biodegradable bags break down just like paper, but the plastic that you get at your local grocer will sit in a landfill for about 500 years before it degrades.
Why choose Noble Pets Products' biodegradable bags?
Our bags are initially dark green-colored (we dye them blue, pink, or white) and they contain an EPI additive which helps them to break down, unlike traditional plastic bags. EPI is the developer of Totally Degradable Plastic Additive (TDPA) which is the technology used in our green-colored bags. EPI testing shows that TDPA allows the bags to break down as it reacts to variables such as heat, oxygen and agitation, is non-toxic and produces no harmful residue.
Choosing biodegradable poop bags is a great way to not only protect the environment, but also yourself and your loved ones from biodegraded plastic.
The Noble Pets Products Dog Gloves biodegrade quickly and naturally, unlike traditional plastic bags which take up to 1,000 years to biodegrade. By choosing our biodegradable poop bags, we can help reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and negatively impacts our environment.

Is your dog licking you to show affection or because she needs some type of attention?
In most cases, dogs lick to show affection. In fact, licking is a dog's primary way of showing you how much she loves you.
Your dog may also lick in order to get your attention or even just because that's what she has always done when trying to ask for something from you.
We’re going to jump into the secrets about why your dog is licking & how to stop it.
They are trying to show affection
One of the most common reasons that dogs lick is because they are trying to show affection. If your dog is licking you constantly every time you see him, it's likely he just wants to be close and feel like he has a special bond with you. When a dog licks you, it could be his way of showing how much he cares and how much he loves you. Of course, this behavior can be seen in dogs of all breeds and they aren't always trying to show affection - it could be because they're hungry or just want some attention from their owner.
They want love from you
If your dog is licking you, pay attention to his body language. If he has his tail up in the air, alert ears and is wagging vigorously, then it's likely that your dog just wants some love from you. Even if dogs lick because they want affection or attention, sometimes dogs can overdo it.
They want attention
Another reason why dogs lick is because they are trying to get attention, whether it's positive or negative. If your dog is licking you in order to get your attention, then stop what you're doing and pay some attention to him. Sometimes dogs lick when they want something from their humans - feeding time, a walk outside or just some playtime can be enough reasons for dogs to lick. If your dog is licking you because she's upset or anxious, then pay attention to why she might be feeling that way. Just like humans, dogs can have a variety of reasons they're not feeling well and just licking someone isn't always a sign that it's time for a trip to the vet.
They are communicating something important
Dogs sometimes lick their humans to try and get them to take actions or do something. When dogs lick people, they are often giving their owners cues about what they want to happen next. For example, if your dog is licking you, he might be trying to tell you that he wants food. If your dog has just come inside from being outside in the rain all day, he might be trying to tell you that he wants to go outside with the rest of the family.
If your dog is licking you because she's anxious or upset, then it's important that you don't give into her demands - just like if one of your children was crying and yelling for ice cream. If you're not sure why your dog is licking you, then think about what kinds of things might be causing your dog to lick you.
They are trying to interact
Another reason that dogs lick is because they are trying to interact with the world around them. Their sense of smell might be very strong and their tongues can pick up various scents in the environment.
They have an itch
If your dog is constantly licking the same area, then it might be because she's trying to get some relief from an itch. Dogs who are licking themselves can have skin allergies or parasites, so if your dog is always licking the same spot of his body, take him to the vet for a checkup. If your dog is constantly licking you on one place of your body, then that's where she might have an itch.
They want to be submissive
You've probably seen dogs licking their owners before, whether it was the family dog at home or a stray on the street. But why are dogs constantly licking other animals? Dogs often lick to show affection, but they also do this when they are feeling threatened or insecure. They lick because they want to make themselves seem smaller - in some cases, dogs even mimic the licking behavior that puppies do when they are nursing to elicit a maternal response from people. If your dog is licking you, then it's important that you don't ignore her - instead, try to figure out why she might be feeling this way!
What to do
If your dog is constantly licking you, then it's possible that the problem might stem from how her tongue feels. Some dogs don't like having their tongues touched and others just don't like when they lick certain materials in the house. When your dog licks you, try to touch his tongue for a few seconds or rub your hand along it. If he backs up or shows signs of anxiety, then licking might be an act of self-defense.
This problem is usually fixed by teaching the dog that licking people is not allowed - since it can get them into trouble! You can teach this using negative association or positive reinforcement (or both). Using negative association means that you punish your dog for licking and positive reinforcement means that you teach them an alternate behavior. To do this, make a noise with your mouth when your dog starts licking and then put another treat in front of their nose. If you're using positive reinforcement, then just use a normal command like "leave it" or "get away."
Some dogs just love being licked and others just hate it! If your dog is licking you, then try to determine why that might be happening. You can then take action to stop her from licking you by rewarding the actions that you want to see more of and ignoring ones that you don't want as much.

As common as dogs are, there are many breeds that shed little-to-no hair at all. This is beneficial for anyone who has allergies or for people who just want to have a clean home.

The Poodle is a non-shedding breed that is known for its shiny coat. This breed is perfect for people with allergies or anyone who wants to keep the hair around their house under control.
Even though this dog doesn't shed, it still needs to be brushed on occasion in order to avoid matting and tangles from forming.

As you can see, there are many non-shedding dogs for you to choose from if you are looking for a new furry companion.
I hope you liked this non shedding dogs list and learned what dogs don't shed.
]]>Well, we think that they just sit around and wait for you to get back - but it turns out they might be doing a lot more than we originally thought.
Dogs with separation anxiety are prone to accidents or chewing on things that they aren't supposed to chew on when left alone for lengthy periods of time. If you have one, I'm guessing you already know what they do when you're out because you've had to replace carpet or other things in your house.
Regardless of their attachment to you, there are a lot of things going on in your dog's mind.
Here are some things that dogs think about when they're alone.
Why is the sound of that car so familiar?
We all know that dogs can pick up sounds, but did you know how many different sounds there are to hear? Dogs will start associating car sounds with their owners, and might even begin recognizing them by the time they get home.
My owner's not home right now, but maybe I can make the house 'mine'?
This one might seem like a stretch, but dogs are way smarter than we give them credit for! Many people think that dogs will pee on your things to mark their territory when you're gone. But sometimes, they'll try and do it to make the house theirs too.
As you can imagine, if your dog is doing this, getting rid of the smell could be a challenge.
What are we all going to do when they get home?
Dogs are really social creatures, and sometimes will get lonely when their owners leave them alone for a long time. They might miss out on all of the fun and wonder what you're doing in the mean time. Some dogs might even get a little worked up and start barking when they hear someone come in the house.
If your dog is feeling anxious, they might also feel separation anxiety when you leave or when you get back - which can make things extra stressful. But if they aren't anxious, they might also be wondering what you're up to!
How did my family get along before I came along?
When you first got your dog, how did you introduce them to everyone else in your house? Did your other pets take it well, or were they pretty mad at their new canine sibling? Either way, dogs will start to wonder what life was like before they came around.
What is this box for?
This one is pretty self-explanatory, but dogs love boxes. They'll sniff them, chew on them, and sleep in them if they can! When you're gone all day at work or school, your dog might just stay near their favorite box - because it's their favorite thing!
Is there anything interesting on TV today?
Dogs can't actually watch TV, but they know that lights mean something is happening! If you've ever turned on your TV before leaving for the day, your dog might be interested to see what's up when you're not around.
I wonder if I still get treats when nobody's home?
Just like any other animal, dogs love treats! When you're not home, they might get a little anxious when they don't get their normal daily treat. They'll wonder what you're doing with the day and what it has to do with why they aren't getting their favorite snack.
When will it be time for dinner!?!
I wonder what the other dogs in my neighborhood are doing today?
Dogs love dogs, and they especially love all of the dogs that live near them. Sometimes, your dog might wish that you let them outside too - or that there were more dogs around to play with when you're not home.
What kind of interesting smells am I finding today?
Dogs can smell a lot more than we can, and they'll start to associate each day with different scents. Some days their owner might leave behind some perfume or aftershave... others, something delicious might happen to fall on the floor! Either way, dogs love smelling all of the new smells that they can find when you're not home.
Overall, though, you can probably rest easy knowing that your dog is just hanging out, sleeping, relaxing, and taking in the sights from the window while they await your arrival.
Most of the time it may look peaceful on the outside, but there's a lot going on in your dog's head on the inside!
Be certain to give your dog lots of love when you get home so they don't forget how special they are to you!

Dirt always seems to track into the house.
Hair is typically flying around...I swear I vacuum.
Dog toys are constantly out, no matter how many times I put them in the toy basket.
If you can relate, don't worry because you're not alone. Here are our best tips to staying clean as a dog owner.
Cleaning up after your pup can be tough, but it doesn't have to be. If you're looking for clean dog parent tips on how to clean like a pro and keep the house clean while also keeping your pup happy, this article is for you! We hope these top tips will help make cleaning easier so that both you and your furry friend are living in cleanliness bliss together.

They are a special breed. They’re not only dogs, but family members, best friends, & loyal companions,
They also have a lot of personality & require a lot of care and attention. If you're lucky enough to own one, then you know what it's like to live with one of these furry friends.
We'll discuss many things only Golden Retriever owners can understand. If you're not a Golden owner, then be sure to read on to learn more about these amazing creatures!
As a Golden Retriever owner, you understand the unique joys and challenges that come with being a pet parent to this lovable breed.
From their perpetual happiness and easy trainability to their love of fetch and water, these dogs make great companions for any family.
Despite these quirks, it's hard not to love these gentle giants!
]]>Did you know dog's aren't actually supposed to eat dog food? Their bodies are meant for a much higher protein diet. When we first got our dog, she was always hungry and begging for more food. But once we switched her over to eating raw meat instead of dog kibble, it only took about two weeks before her stomach stopped growling all day.
You can either make your dog food yourself or find a good, high-quality dog food to buy. My vet told me that grain-free diets can cause heart problems for dogs, so I ensure that she always gets healthy grains included in her food.
Another big dog mistake dog owners are making is not providing enough exercise for their dog. Dogs are meant to run, which means they need a good 30 minutes of running per day. If you can't take them on a run, or you live in a city where parks aren't dog-friendly, then you need to invest in dog running equipment.
I bought her one of those dog treadmills that you can put outside and she has loved it ever since!
It's okay to share your snacks with your dog every once in a while, but giving them human food is a dog mistake dog owners are making that you need to stop. Giving your dog scraps from the dinner table might seem harmless, but it's actually teaching them bad habits and giving them unhealthy foods that can lead to obesity.
Pet obesity has become an epidemic in our country because of dog owners feeding their dogs people food. You might think you're doing your dog a favor, but in reality, it's not good for them.
There are plenty of healthy dog snacks that you can give them instead, like peanut butter dog biscuits. Look for a fun PB & oats recipe that's super easy to whip up.
They'll love you for it!
The fourth dog mistake dog owners are making is not grooming their dog regularly.
Every dog has different grooming needs, but generally speaking, you should be brushing your dog's hair at least once a day. This helps prevent excess shedding that can make a mess of your house and also ensures they're clean and healthy.
I just shared how you can dog-proof your home so that it's dog safe even when you're not around, and a big part of dog safety is keeping them clean.
They say dogs are cleaner than humans, but I'm not sure I've seen any evidence to back up this claim yet!
If you don't have time for daily dog brushing, you can buy dog hair clippers that help them stay clean and healthy.
Just be sure to use dog-safe dog shampoo with these grooming tools so you don't end up hurting your dog.
It's also a good idea to give your dog baths every once in a while too because it's important for their health.
The fifth dog mistake dog owners are making is not taking their dog to the vet regularly. Just like with humans, it's important for dogs to go to the doctor for check-ups and get vaccinated against diseases.
Many dog owners don't take their dog to the vet because they think they're too expensive, but there are ways to get vet care for your dog at a lower cost.
One way is to find a veterinarian that offers payment plans, like this one that I use for my dog.
They offer low-cost services and also allow you to make monthly payments so that you can afford to keep your dog healthy.
It's important to find a vet that you trust and are comfortable with, because your dog's health is important to them too!
So there you have it, the five biggest dog mistakes dog owners are making. By following these tips, you can help keep your dog healthy and happy! And remember, if you ever have any questions or concerns about your dog's health, always consult a veterinarian. Thank you for reading!

A dog's sense of smell is so powerful that they can detect whether a person has cancer or not by smelling their breath. In fact, dogs can diagnose illness better than some medical equipment.
Contrary to popular belief, dog eyesight is very similar to human sight and they even see colors. They just can't discern as many shades as we can because dogs' eyes don't have the ability to perceive yellow and green.
Dogs can hear frequencies beyond the range of human hearing, which is between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz (dogs can hear up to 40,000 Hz). That's why dog owners often find themselves repeating commands; dogs just can't hear you!
Dogs have the same brain structures that govern emotion in humans. They also go through many of the same emotions that we do, including stress and anxiety.
You've probably noticed your dog catching a yawn when you're tired after a long day at work, but have you ever caught your dog yawning when they aren't tired in the slightest? Well it's true, dogs can catch human yawns. Be careful next time you yawn when your dog is around; they may think you're actually sleepy and try to take advantage of that!
Hugs might feel nice to dog owners, but dogs don't see it that way. Dogs are one of the few mammals who greet each other by sniffing, so they see hugs as a form of social dominance and an invasion of their personal space. To dogs, hugs feel like confronting a stranger - not something dogs do!
Just like humans, dogs get bored when they're not stimulated with new and exciting things. Bored dogs can become destructive and hard to handle; make sure your dog always has some toys or is taken on walks often to keep them happy and occupied!
That's right: dogs like positive feedback from their owners more than they like food!
Dogs are often referred to as "man's best friend", so it might surprise dog owners to know that dogs can howl at the moon, just like wolves. It is still unknown why dogs howl at the moon, but some scientists theorize dogs may howl to communicate with other dogs across long distances.
Studies show that dogs love watching dog-themed or dog-related shows, especially the dog whisperer. And much like their owners, dogs look at the TV screen instead of at other members in a group.
It might not be a dog-eat-dog world after all! Dogs have an excellent sense of time and can anticipate what is going to happen in the future, just like humans. This makes dogs especially great at learning tricks and other routines because they know when it will occur.
Dogs aren't all fun and games! Dogs get jealous of their owners' attention just like humans do, which can often lead dogs to become destructive or difficult if they think a new dog or baby will take their place in the owner's affection.
Dogs don't chew their food as many dog owners believe; dogs swallow their food whole which can take up to 5 weeks to digest! That means dogs are basically wearing their food for at least the next week. Yummy!
When dogs are hungry, they will eat dog food left out overnight if it is available. Dogs do not have the ability to self regulate their calorie intake or dog food quality in order to make sure dogs get enough nutrition, so dog owners must make sure dogs only eat when they are fed. This is one of many reasons why dogs are not better at taking care of themselves without dog owners.
Since dogs have excellent senses, they are especially good for police work or assisting blind people. Out of all the animals in the world, dogs have the most advanced sense of smell - so there is no task dogs can't accomplish!
Dog owners may know dogs have belly buttons, but dogs don't. This strange looking dog body part is actually called an umbilical hernia and it basically acts as a scar from where dogs were attached to their mother while they were still in the womb.
Dog owners know dogs sleep a lot, but dogs actually spend a third of their life sleeping! And dog dreams look very similar to human dreams: dogs can run and play in their sleep, much to the delight of dog owners who get to watch their dog "play" while they sleep.
Have you ever seen your dog sweat? You might be surprised to know that dogs cool their body temperature down by panting instead of sweating like humans do. This means dogs can easily overheat, which is why it is important dog owners always monitor their dogs during summer months.
Dogs owners know dogs love to eat, but dogs actually work for their dog food by doing tricks like "sit" or "fetch". This is because dogs were domesticated long ago and used to hunt prey; dog owners must make dogs work for dog food in order to keep dogs healthy and prevent obesity.
Dog owners get up early, go out late, and don't even get a lunch break compared to dogs. Dogs have all day to sleep or play while dog owners typically put their dogs in a dog crate until they get back from work. Dogs may have it easy, but dog owners deserve a break too!
In conclusion, dogs are amazing creatures, but there are so many things most people don't know about them. These fascinating dog secrets can help you better understand your dog and appreciate being a dog owner even more!
Share these secrets with your dog owner bestie because I know they'll LOVE learning them!
]]>1) Invest in pet-friendly cleaning products
I'm not saying go out & buy pet cleaners, what I am suggesting is to invest in pet-friendly cleaning products.
For instance, vinegar is pet friendly. You can use diluted white distilled vinegar or apple cider vinegar for pet-friendly cleaning purposes.
2) Make a pet clean up kit
What's great about making a pet clean up kit is that you can keep it in one spot & easily grab it to do pet clean up. For those pet parents, who don't have a pet clean up kit, make one as soon as possible.
3) Don't let pet hair go around the house by investing in a pet hair remover/lint roller
I know pet hair removers & pet lint rollers can cost a few bucks but pet parents, this is one of the ways pet parents live cleaner. Plus, you don't need to buy pet hair remover refills all the time because they are reusable. I've been using pet hair remover refills since 2012 & am still going.
4) Make a pet cleaning schedule
To make your life easier & to keep the house always clean, create a pet cleaning schedule. We can do pet clean up daily or weekly depending on how bad the pet hair/drool is flying around. Sticking to a schedule will ensure that you are always staying on top of cleaning up.
5) Clean your pet's paws after going outside
I know it may be hard to do this after every time you go out, but after taking my dog on a walk earlier today, I noticed how quickly her paws got dirty. So, make it a priority to clean your pet's paws after going outside.
I hope our tips help your home get cleaner everyday! You can do it! It's small action items now that will pay off in the future.

It’s a problem most dog lovers are familiar with, but for many of us, it’s not our favorite part about having a dog. You take them outside, they start sniffing, then pacing, you know the tushy is going down…
I always pray for it to be a tinkle, like I have some control over the situation, even though I know I don’t.
Everyday (at least once or twice), it’s not a tinkle.
It’s a plop.
Better that it’s happening outside rather than in our house, yet I still don’t get excited to pick up poop. However, I’m about to tell you something life changing, so get ready…
I decided to switch from picking up poop with poop bags to Dog Gloves, which makes it so much easier & makes me genuinely happy!
No more picking poop with your bags? Have you ever thought about how it doesn’t make sense to grab poop with a bag? Bags are meant to hold things & gloves are meant to grab things.
So what are Dog Gloves and why should we switch? I wanted to share with you all the pros to using poop gloves, rather than bags…
Dog Gloves are biodegradable
Dog Gloves are 2x thicker than regular poop bags
Dog Gloves are 50% glove + 50% bag
Dog Gloves are available in white, so it’s like white-glove service for your dog
Dog Gloves have extra long ties
Dog Gloves shield your arm when picking up
We’ve enjoyed having bags, but now, poop bags are better left in the past.
Until I fully transitioned over, I used my poop bags to hold treats on our walk until I got rid of all of them.
Remember bags hold things, while gloves grab. So let’s use gloves where it makes sense, now that it’s possible.
Forget the poop bag, Dog Gloves are what you need!
]]>
Dog Gloves.
Who knew poop bags vs. gloves could be such a hot topic? But, we’re happy to be leading it.
Let’s get on the same page first.
Bags are designed to hold things.
Gloves are designed to grab things.
If both are true, then why exactly is this even a debate that you wouldn’t use gloves to GRAB poop?
Well, I got tired of always failing in picking up all my dog’s poop, but succeeding in picking up a lot of dirt and grass.
Exactly why I designed poop gloves, also known as our Dog Gloves, because they make you go from feeling like a hot mess to a glamorous dog owner who can perfectly pick up after a dog.
Not to mention, we do it responsibly because our Dog Gloves are 100% biodegradable.
If you’re not already convinced, Dog Gloves do more than only picking up poop. I’ve had the greatest pleasure of using my gloves for quite some time now & figured out a million other ways to use them.
Let’s take a closer look at all the ways they can be used…
Pick Up Poop
The most popular uses of the gloves. Clean, precise, quick…what else can we say? Potty time will be easier & less messy than ever before. Now you can get in & out quickly.
Wipe the Floor
Drool, dirty paws, or crummies! All little things you don’t want to touch with your bare hands. If you don’t have to make 1:1 contact, don’t bother…use your gloves.
Grab the Hair
Hair, hair everywhere. If you have a shedding dog, you know all too much about the step before vacuuming, which is picking up the hair before. Now you can use these gloves!
Prep the Food
Pets love some unique foods that we don’t necessarily want to touch. Sometimes the smellier, the tastier (to them). Regardless of the sophistication of the food palate, I love using the gloves to prep raw foods or set aside snacks.
Wash the Dogs
You probably know about the prune fingers. Now, you can use the gloves to rinse the hair. I save SO MUCH time when I use my gloves. Bath time went from 20 to 5 mins because the gloves make it easier to get all the hidden places on my dogs & keeps them calm (they LOVE the smooth feeling).
Clean the Crate
Dry drool, potty accidents, hair… whatever happens in the crate, we’ve got you! I only clean in the crate when I’ve got gloves on. There’s no need to wipe it down without protection.
Wash the Bowls
It’s a daily routine to wipe down the bowls to keep it sanitary. There’s a lot of unknowns hidden in those bowl that I don’t want to touch. I only use my gloves to get it all out.
Wipe the Paws
We all have those dirty days. The paws get wet & dirty, but they are also very delicate. The gloves are great to wipe them down without getting my paws as dirty as theirs.
I know, that’s a lot of information so I understand if you need some time to take it all in. I’m happy you found us & hope you take our glam gloves with you the next time to take your dog out.
You’ll look like the hottest & trendiest dog owner at the park or on your walk. I’m confident you’ll make a couple new friends.

Here’s our best advice!
This is one way to make it easier to clean as a pet owner. It will help to avoid leaving any traces of pet hair or dirt behind.
Another pet-friendly product pet parents can use in their home is a pet steam cleaner. This will make it easy to clean up pet accidents, pet hair around the house, stains on your carpets and more.
There is nothing worse than pet hair stuck all over your pet bedding! I know from experience that pet hair accumulates very quickly on pet bedding, so I wash my dog's pet bedding weekly.
Whether it's pet hair from your pet laying on your favorite armchair or pet dirt from their paws, furniture getting dirty can be inevitable. To remove pet hair or stains and other fabric surfaces, I use shampoo to wipe down the furniture at least once per week.

]]>Trust me, I’ve been there too many times!
You may be shocked that professional dog trainers do not recommend saying to your dog "stop pulling!" or anything like that.
Some dogs can manage these techniques, but others find it difficult if they're tugging and their owner is yelling at them.
Here are the best ways to stop the pulling…
1) The first thing that needs to be addressed when trying to fix any problem (and this is a big one) is the owner's behavior. If you're not reinforcing good behavior, then your dog isn't going to think that it's actually bad. Let me explain:
If your dog pulls on their leash and you keep walking, eventually the dog will figure out that they get where they want faster if they just continue to pull. This will not stop until you start making a big deal when your dog pulls and make them wait at intersections or treat them for not pulling–even if it takes months of training, remember that it's worth it in the end!
2) The next step is to start teaching your dog what "heel" means. Whether you use a clicker is completely up to you, as with any training it's about finding the method that works best for your dog.
3) When teaching “heel”, make sure to give a treat every time they get it right and know their reward will come faster if they walk on your left side. If you're using a clicker, click as soon as their left foot touches your right.
4) Keep practicing “heel” every day until you notice a decrease in pulling. It might take some time, but just keep it up!
5) Remember that if your dog is being stubborn or simply doesn't know how to do what you're asking of them, practice for even 10 minutes per day to get them used to it. If you practice for 5 minutes twice a day, after a week they'll have been practicing for 10 minutes for two weeks straight–and that's a good start!
6) Once your dog is now consistently walking by your side without pulling, it's time to try those few techniques that I mentioned above. The first is to stand still and not move when your dog pulls. This is an easy way to teach them that pulling gets them nowhere!
7) Another is to try using a harness designed to reduce the stress on your dog's neck while pulling, such as a front-attachment harness. This way, the leash goes around their chest instead of their neck and it decreases the amount of stress on your dog's neck–much nicer for them!
8) You can also try practicing in different locations to see if your dog is less inclined to pull when there are distractions, such as other dogs–if it's much harder to pull when dogs are around, then you'll obviously want to practice near dogs!
9) It also helps to have a more experienced trainer give you some pointers and more information on how they train their dogs. There are different techniques for different breeds and personalities of dogs!
10) Lastly, try using a gentle leader muzzle while training to get your dog used to wearing it. You can reward them with treats when they're calm and not pulling while wearing the muzzle.
11) Finally, remember that there is no one "right" way to train your dog to stop pulling. It's worth experimenting with different techniques to find out what works best for your dog–the more you practice, the better your dog will become!
Dogs are often eager to please their owners and with a little patience and training, most dogs can be taught how to walk properly on a leash. The techniques mentioned in this article should help get you started on the right path. Remember that it might take some time for your dog to learn, but with practice they will eventually become well-behaved during walks. Be patient and keep up the good work!

One of the biggest problems that I had was that my dog always pulled me.
It seemed impossible for her to stop.
We weren’t always in a hurry, but it certainly felt like it. I don’t want you to have to go through that arm pain that I often felt.
It almost felt like an arm workout trying to handle her.
Here’s exactly step-by-step what I did to get her to stop pulling me.
I walked her regularly
First, I walked her regularly so she was more comfortable in that environment.
I always had a treat pouch
Second, I always had a treat pouch– this way, I not only had treats available to reward my dog, but it made me look more authoritative.
I stool still when she pulled on the leash
Third, I would stand still when she pulled on the leash. When my dog stopped pulling and was calm, then I began walking again. Dogs learn that pulling results in stopping after all!
I used a harness
Fourth (this is good if your dog is very strong or large), I used a special harness specifically designed to help with pulling.
I practiced in different locations
Fifth, I practiced training in different locations. Remember that your dog might be more inclined to pull when there's something interesting going on around them, so be prepared for this ahead of time.
I talked to a trainer
Sixth, I talked to a more experienced trainer who gave me some pointers and more information on how they train their dogs. There are different techniques for different breeds and personalities of dogs! That was helpful, so I wanted to recommend it as an option at some point if you’re really struggling.
I used a gentle lead
Seventh, I used a gentle leader muzzle while training her to get her used to wearing it. You can reward them with treats when they're calm and not pulling while wearing the muzzle. She didn’t mind the muzzle after a while & just remember this is totally short-term. You can take it off when your dog is ready and better behaved.
I hope you can take some of these methods & they help you.
Finally, remember that there is no one "right" way to train your dog to stop pulling.
It's worth experimenting with different techniques to find out what works best for your dog.
]]>A lot of people always show a natural preference for dogs that look cute and fluffy, but it's important to remember that these dogs can sometimes have a lot of energy and need a lot of exercise. One breed that does not actually fall into this category is the Pug, which has a particularly lazy personality despite its cute appearance. We go into depth below on everything you need to know about different types of dog breeds.
High Energy Breeds
A dog with a lively personality will also need daily walks in order to get rid of excess energy, otherwise it will be almost impossible to keep it under control and you will quickly find that your house is trashed. A dog with a high energy level can also make for an excellent jogging companion if this is something you enjoy doing. Dog breeds with higher energy levels are:
Gentle Personality Breeds
A dog with a gentle personality is very suitable as a family pet, especially when kids are involved. This kind of breed will be very affectionate and patient with children, but will quickly let you know when it has had enough excitement. It's important to nip bad behavior in the bud early on by making sure your dog understands that you are in charge; this kind of breed will respect leadership. Dog breeds with a gentler personality are:
Lower Energy Breeds
A dog with a low energy level does not need much exercise at all and will be content with a quiet walk around the block or some play time in the yard. It will not be as easily excitable as some other breeds, and won't require much training because it typically has a relaxed nature. Dog breeds with lower energy levels are:
Stubborn Breeds
A dog that is particularly stubborn will often need more assertive owners who know how to show the dog who's in charge. This generally means that it needs more training and that you need to be more aware of its behavior than with other breeds, although this becomes easier over time as the dog learns who is boss. Dog breeds that can be more stubborn are:
Intelligent Breeds
An intelligent breed will require a lot of attention and mental stimulation on a daily basis if you want it to get along well in your household. If you have a busy schedule and cannot give this kind of breed enough attention, it is recommended that you don't get one. Dog breeds that are pretty intelligent are:
Independent / Self-Entertained Breeds:
A dog with a resourceful personality will naturally be more inclined to find ways to entertain itself rather than just waiting patiently for your next command. If the dog has already been trained from a young age, it can be taught to play alone with toys when you're not around; otherwise, you'll need to invest in plenty of chew-friendly dog products. Dog breeds that are more resourceful are:
Toy Breeds with Energy to Spare
A toy breed is typically small and therefore has a lot of energy that can be hard to contain. If you have kids, this kind of breed is not recommended because it may become frightened or start nipping in order to get them to stop bothering it. These breeds are generally better suited for households without children. The most commonly known toy breeds are:
Affectionate Personality Breeds
A dog with a very affectionate personality is great if you are looking for a cuddle buddy or if you're simply after an easy-to-train breed. It's important to note that this kind of breed is not as independent as others and will require plenty of love and attention. Dog breeds with an affectionate personality are:
Minimal Grooming Breeds
While some dogs only need minimal grooming, others may require more or even extensive grooming on a regular basis. If you are unsure of these details, or simply do not have the time to dedicate to grooming your pet every day, it's important to find out about this before you make any decisions. Dog breeds with low grooming requirements are:
Low Shedding Dog Breeds
A low shedding dog breed should be the perfect choice if you're looking for a dog that doesn't drop hair all over your house. This type of breed will require regular grooming and brushing, but won't shed very much at all. Dog breeds with a minimal shedding level are:
Excellent Temperament Breeds
A temperament test can be helpful when you're new to the world of owning a dog. In order for this test to be effective, it's important that you get your puppy from a reputable breeder who will have given it plenty of socialization and training from an early age so that it can easily adapt to all types of new environments in the future. The kind of environment in which you raise your puppy will also have a major impact on its character. Dog breeds with an excellent temperament are:
Dogs are bred for a variety of different personality traits, and it's important to select the right breed for your individual lifestyle. If you're not sure which breed is best suited for you, consider taking a temperament test or reading up on the history and origins of various dog breeds. By selecting the right dog breed, you'll be able to create a lasting bond and enjoy years of companionship.

For example, one glass of hydrogen peroxide costs only $1 in most pharmacies, even when not on sale, while the same amount of dog shampoo will cost $5 or more.
Say “no more” to overly priced cleaners that you can make at home right now.
To make a dog cleaner at home, you will need:
Grab an empty spray bottle from the Dollar Store or reuse one that you have at home.
Add all the above ingredients into it and mix up the bottle.
This is such a simple DIY dog cleaner recipe that you can use anywhere & it's pretty safe in case your pup happens to get sniffing into it - I can relate!
It's also great because it is unscented (without the essential oils) or very lightly scented (if you choose to use the oils).
You can get creative and mix in different essential oils like green apple, sandalwood, or citrus extracts from the store or even Amazon. Yay for 1 or 2 day shipping!
You'll also want to grab a couple white rags to use during cleanup.
Other than that, you'll be good to go!
This recipe is perfect for cleaning up after potty accidents, dirt from paws, food spills, or drool that ended up in the wrong places of the house. Anyway, good luck & I hope you love it!

When I got my dog, she constantly wanted attention. If I ignored her, then I'd later find her chewing something (I'd pray it wasn't my shoe), & she wouldn't leave me alone in the house.
I was excited if I got 10-15 mins of relaxation.
Basically, I would do anything to keep her occupied...which is the reason I invested in so many bones. The bones are great but the costs add up & they aren't the best for a dog's teeth.
My vet told me that dental surgery for dogs can cost up to $10,000 when they get older. What a nightmare.
Then I got the best advice I'd ever received (to this day) from a dog trainer.
It's called...frozen yogurt & is only ONE ingredient. Amen! I'll tell you step-by-step how I make my dog's frozen yogurt. I batch it 1x per week, which carries us through everyday of the entire week.
Ingredients:
Unsweetened greek or regular yogurt
Optional Toppings:
Instructions:
Ready to go! Your dog will LOVE you for it.
It's the easiest & healthiest treat I've ever made.
Why is frozen yogurt healthy for dogs?
If you're still not convinced, then let's talk about the health benefits to frozen yogurt. Yogurt is low in sugar, low in fat, and high in calcium. Frozen yogurt is also a good source of probiotics, which are beneficial bacteria that help with gut health. Probiotics can also help improve your dog's immune system.
Yogurt is very beneficial for your dog. It contains healthy bacteria, such as lactobacillus and bifidus, which can help prevent intestinal upset and diarrhea. Yogurt also aids in digestion by balancing the pH level of your pet's digestive tract. This helps with the absorption of nutrients and vitamins from food.
Our frozen yogurt recipe is made purely from unsweetened greek yogurt & then you can add fruit or veggies to make it a supercharged healthy frozen treat for your dog with benefits that you can see in the color of their poop.
Will frozen yogurt make my dog sick?
As long as frozen yogurt is made with low fat or non-fat frozen yogurt, your pet should not get an upset stomach. If your dog has any food allergies, you may want to avoid frozen yogurt that contains berries because it can cause allergic reactions in some dogs. You will also want to test your dog's tolerance of frozen yogurt. Offer your dog a small amount at first to ensure that he/she does not have any digestive issues with it.
I hope you and your dog both love it. This is such a time & money saver that you can make every single day.

If your dog is anything like mine, she will pretty much eat anything that falls on the floor.
Possibly with the exception of green leafy vegetables, but she's not alone.
I love giving her all of the below foods because they are the easiest foods for her to digest.
Not all human food is good for dogs, so I recommend sticking closely to the below list if you want your dog to have the happiest tummy.
Here are the 14 easiest foods for your dog to digest.
If your dog suddenly eats something that is not easy to digest, or you see a change in their regular behavior, I recommend checking with your vet. Don't wait too long before seeing if they get better. If you have a feeling that it's more serious, jump over to the doctor for a quick check-in.
I hope this list helps you find new healthy foods for your dog. Good luck!
